The Pacific Gas and Electric Co. is approaching its limit for adding net-metering customers, which feed solar electricity into the grid. If the cap isn't raised,"you're going to see installations totally grind to a halt," said Adam Browning, executive director of Vote Solar. The Senate is expected to consider a bill that would raise the limit this month.
